Description

Up for bid is a Vintage Yaesu MD-1 Dynamic Desk Microphone.  It has been cleaned and tested and works as it is supposed to.  i guess some kind of armor all or other product could be used to make the plastic base shine like new, but I will let the new owner decide on that.  It looks better in person.  Cameras can make some things look worse than they are.  The mic was checked out again just before this listing.  In addition to PTT and Lock buttons, it also has frequency scan switches for UP, Down, and FAST controls (for radios equipped for scanning).  Comes from a smoke free home.
It is in very good condition with normal signs of wear, except for one cosmetic flaw that has been there for years.  It looks like a soldering iron might have touched the outer insulation on the cable from the mic to the base, but it is not melted all the day through and does not interfere with the mic functions.  There is no need to replace the cable, but replacements are readily available.
