The GM has become the most widely used dynamic microphone for amateur radio. It was created specifically for full-range smooth articulate SSB audio with a wide 60 Hz- 16 kHz response. A +4 dB peak @ 2 kHz gives the new GM microphone excellent voice articulation along with its big bottom low end that is so important for producing a well-balanced studio quality SSB signal.

The GM 4 Full-range has two dynamic elements. A two position switch (Wide – Narrow) on the microphone selects either the Wide full range broadcast element or the HC-4 DX Dream Machine element.
All GM microphones are shipped with a windscreen and a microphone clip.
