    The new HM-12 microphone, a product from the new Genesis Series, is designed to work with nearly every amateur radio low impedance transmitter. This microphone features the 'Genesis' dynamic element mounted in a special internal shock mount, it exhibits nearly -35dB of rear rejection practically eliminating unwanted background and ambient noise from the transmitted signal. The HM-12 microphone is also equipped with an internal foam windscreen for addition ambient noise reduction.
    The HM-12 transmits a very natural audio response from 80Hz-14kHz and features excellent voice articulation with clean and clear low-end response that produces a high quality AM, FM or SSB signal made possible with the traditional Heil +4dB peak centered at 2kHz.
    The ‘soft touch’ PTT switch is wired to pins 3 and 4 for transmitter control with the microphone signal fed to pins 1 and 2 of the 4 pin XLR.
    The HM -12 uses the HEIL CC-1 Connecting Cables."
