Bisque Swivel Head Jules Steiner Antique Reproduction 23" Doll Beautiful Detail. Gorgeous bisque swivel head Jules Steiner doll antique reproduction. A truly enchanting and lovely girl, she is a custom doll. She has exquisite face painting, beautiful brush stroke lash detail on both her eyelashes and brows, each stroke painted with delicate precision, a creamy soft facial complexion, beautiful blue glass eyes and long cascading soft blonde curls. The wig is not glued or permanently attached.
Her ears are pierced and she's wearing red jewel earrings that match her custom red plaid dress. Her head mold is from Bell Ceramics. Bell Ceramics has been around over 50 years and produces a patented fine translucent slip for its ceramics. She is marked on the back of her head Steiner Paris and signed by her artist on right side Katie Redd 1993. She is a large and substantial doll, 23" tall, well strung newer composite body with jointed elbows and knees. Her dress is red plaid drop waist style with buttons on the front, white lace trimmed collar, a white slip and bloomers with charming hand sewn little flower details. She has white socks and red laced shoes. She has a lovely beaded clasp purse that opens and shuts.
