Engines as is will not work on standard DC nor any NMRA DCC system. Dynatrol was a proprietary early digital train control system pre dating NMRA DCC standards. Wiring for the Dynatrol modules however was very simple two wires to the control module from track power and two wires to the motor. This means it is relatively simple to convert to DC or NMRA compatible DCC. I do not have a Dynatrol system so items could not be tested but came off of a working model train display that was part of an estate collection. The included #13 loco plug attaches to a Dynatrol hand held throttle.

    This is a listing for an HO scale RSD-4/5 diesel Locomotive. U
    nit is powered. Locomotive is wired for a Dynatrol Digital model train control system only. It is wired for loco #3 . The engine as is will not work on standard  DC nor any NMRA DCC system. Dynatrol was a proprietary early digital train control system pre dating NMRA DCC standards.     Locomotive shell is made from plastic.  Item was produced by Atlas. Item is factory decorated for St. Louuis South Western/Southern Pacific Railroad "Black Widow" scheme and lettered for (SSW) cab #3. Model has been custom weathered. Item is approx. 8" long.
