    Description:
    This auction is for a signed, One-of-a-Kind vintage antique reproduction Gerald La Motte molded painted bonnet head doll who measures 16" tall.  Gerald La Motte made each of his dolls individually and one at a time, no two dolls are exactly the same.   He always signed his dolls and with a date. This doll is signed on the back of her shoulder head "La Motte 62". These dolls are difficult to find.  Beautiful face with painted blue eyes, she has black liner over the eye lids with coral liner over the black liner, brown single stroke brows, closed mouth with accent through the lips and subtle blush on the cheeks. I see no rubs or issues on her "perfect" face. She has painted molded blonde wavy brush stroked hair, there is a painted molded bonnet on her head. There is a tiny paint chip on the rim of her bonnet you can see in my photos. Her body is cloth being stitch jointed at the hips and knees with all fingers intact, her legs have painted molded black double strap shoes.  Wears a print dress that blends in with the color of her bonnet, it is charming with buttons down the back, I notice a few light stains on the back of her dress I have not attempted to clean. She wears white slip with pantaloons.
    This is a Nice artist doll for collection or display!
